10cc had Godley and Cream. I think it was Lol Cream, did the Lol stand for Lionel as i can't for the life of me think what Lol can be shortened from?

when i first saw the internet about 6 years ago my friend said it stood for ots of Laughs even tho its laughing out loud and even to this day when i read lol i still think "lots laughing" ,...that bastard....ruined my life....
