Can anyone recommend some decent players that play these discs back fine? when they are recorded on a Panasonic DMRE-50, thanks

The cheap and cheerful CyberHome 400 from WHSmiths. Its played everyting ive thrown at it including -R/RW +R/RM, VCD, SVCD.

And its ? the size of a regular player - wicked.

+R/RM -should be +R/RW of course....

The Dansai 959 or 1010 from Tesco's.
?90 if that and easily one of the best budget players.
Hasn't spat a disc out yet.
Can also be handset hacked to multi region and macro disable.

BUY this one for best performance and with the ability to do something invaluable and clever the panasonic s35 which will set u back ?100 online or ?120 from comet, curry'etc.

These machines also play dvd ram discs so you can record on the dmr e50 do your editing on it remove adverts splice, re title, cut out the dodgy camera work , then insert the ram disc into the s35 and record back onto a cheap dvd -r disc on your dmr e50 raher than use up the ram discs which are 7 time s the price. Because dvd -r is aproved by the satelitte forum 99% of new machines play back this format by the way.

If you do this you get all the benefits of the hard disc recorder at a few hundred quid less. plus it looks great stacked ontop of the e50 cos it matches (deliberatly done) what more could you ask.

Which WHSmith stock these? Where I live has a pissy WHS, do I need to go to a city instead of a one-horse town to get one or can it be ordered from any WHS?
