I have heard a lot about this notorious Japanese violent film. Never seen it though. I see Chainsaw Video are selling it. Is it any good?

I am slowly collecting films that are or were classed as nasties by the DPP. Most are now certificated but some remain elusive such as The Bogeyman. Also I still havnt seen Fulcis complete works. The Beyond is available uncut now I think. But I would draw the line at Guinea Pig the notorious Jap slasher film that Charlie Sheen mistook for snuff and reported to the FBI. Its more cult horror that I am collecting at the moment not unpleasant shit like Faces of Death etc.

Also anyone got a poster of Dead And Buried or know where to get one? And while I am at it some slag tore my Enter The Dragon poster during a drunken party so any ideas on where to get one of them too.

Don't panic about Guinea Pig, it's shit. Sheen must have been snorting coke from Ginger Lyn's tit's all night to think that was real. Try the Ilsa films, they're quite good.

I've got Men Behind The Sun on video Mags.
It's a copy that was given to me some years back. It's subbed into english and like most old subs, you'll have a hard time reading them.
The quality is good though and the film is pretty extreme in some places.
Had it for 10 years but never did manage to find the time to watch all of it. How does that happen?
Got quite a nasties collection. The majority being first gen copies from DVD.
Want a VHS of MBTS just to decide wether or not the DVD's worth it?

I think if I got sent a copy on VHS then fair enough, but I wouldn't go out my way to pay extortionate prices on DVD. Even on Ebay the prices are a joke.

By the way Mags, ETD poster can be bought thru most film shops.
Try HMV or Virgin.
Failing that, pick up a copy of Martial Arts Illustrated or Impact for poster ads.

I've seen repoduction posters of Enter the Dragon at Virgin mega-store, and as its Bruce Lee night on Saturday, you can bet they will be 'reduced' to sell them on.
