by Roger Waters, what a great album, turned out the original Pink Floyd rejected this in favour of the Wall album, makes me wonder what it would have been like if Floyd recorded pro's & con's, and Waters recorded the Wall as a solo album eh?

There's a few moving parts as well from "The Gunner's dream"
"You can relax
on both sides of the tracks
and maniacs
don't blow holes
in bandsmen by remote controls"
How true eh?

I think so Steve, I was only 9 then, but I remember being very aware of all the bombs going of around the time, and the shocking pictures on the news of the horses lying dead which must have been the bomb in the park, and being scared to go up to London as well, still don't like going up there now

A belter of an album, as is Amused to Death with Mr Jeff beck on guitar.
Coldplay, Muse, Travis, even Radiohead cannot get near this level of production, lyrics and real tunes.

Yes have to agrre there Healer, all Waters solo stuff is superb, even Radio Kaos my least favourite is a great album, looking foward to his new album , have you heard "Each small candle" ? played at the end of his recent tours, a wonderful song, very moving, some great previously unreleased tracks on the new compilation "Flickering Flame" a must for all Waters fans, Lost boys calling, Flickering flame, well worth investing in, heard he's touring again shortly, if you did'nt catch the last tour the "In the flesh" DVD or double CD are well worth getting, Doyle Bramhall III on Guitar is unbelievable! you have to hear him and Snowy White duelling guitars on Comfortably Numb!
