As Veron is probably coming to us for ?15m, thats a loss of ?13m for Man Utd (LOL LOL LOL) who else is a costly flop?
Chris Sutton (2 goals in a season) is worth a mention here as he cost us the best part of ?10m

Tore-Andre Flo. ?12m to Rangers. Ken Bates must have shat himself laughing. Sunderland bought him off Rangers for 4 or 4.5 I think.

Never rated Flo....even after some of his goals, Ken did the right thing and shat his pants laughing at those mugs at Ibrox.

There's a cunt in football if ever one was nominated. Thinks he's a hard nut, but I remember 5'4" Dennis Wise giving Keano a good right hander down the tunnel a few years back. Keano gave it back till Wisey bit Keano's ear and hung on like a terrier, Keane shit himself and was quiet the second half........we still lost, but Wisey was a winner in most people's eyes that day (for once) Even Manc fans liked that one!

wise was a nasty little bastard just the sort of player you want in your side
always kicked you with a smile on his face.

Totally agree Wisey was a cunt, but WHAT a cunt to have in yer side. Played for the shirt and loved to needle 'star' players like Viera who always admitted hated playing against Wisey as he KNEW it was a matter of time before he was 'upended'.
I think 'our Dennis' is happy at Millwall where he can mingle with yob fans if he's not on the pitch.
