For those of you that use Kazza, you'll know the the bloody adverts it pushes to you are a annoying. I have read that there is something called KazzaLite, written by some techies who also didn't dig the adverts.

Do any of you use it? Is it any good.

Thanks

Just type Kazza lit into google, and down load the English version, it is free from pop-ups, advertising etc, and runs no problem........
when you have d/loaded it, you get options, amount of uploads/downloads, username, bla bla bla...., still worth running a spyware programme on a regular basis though, just to make sure, but I have never had any problems or even cookies from kazza lite, well worth the download.

If you've got broadband kazzalite is not much better because although it has no annoying adverts the download sppeds are still mostly slow.

Instead search on google for dcc++ and use that. Although it's more tricky to use initially, you can get far faster downloads.

Kazaalite is like most pirated file sharing programs

all Hit & Miss

On the Positive: yes there is a plethora of Full movies pieces

On the negative:

Viruses/Spyware/Adware are sometimes embedded in downloads

File descriptions can be tampered with and are by anybody that downloads them.Plenty of malicious activity in this respect

Quality isn't guaranteed

Locating what you want is guess work due to the malicious activity I referred to above

Downloads speeds vary but as the majority of the world are still on 56K if you are on broadband you might think it a tad bit slow....and if the only ones who have the file have their computer turned off...better luck when ever

cheers

Havn't tried Kazaa because of the warnings. Kazaalite is OK if you have broadband and patience. Finding stuff can be a bit hit and miss, and when you have found it there's no guarantee it will download (in your lifetime).
