the ORIGINAL one dimensional actor. Liked him in Great Escape and Dirty Dozen, but forget the bilge that Michael Winner makes that Bronson appeared in.
Personal fave was The Streetfighter where he appeared with James Coburn.

theres a lookback on his life/films etc on the yahoo news page,incidently he was married to jill ireland ,david mcullums xwife from the man from uncle in the 60s.
