This is Ridley Scott's new film with Nicolas Cage.

For what it 's worth here's what I thought

It's about 2 con men one of which finds his daughter after leaving her pregnant mother 14 years previous and ends up getting his new found daughter involved in his latest heist.

Pros
-There's a twist in the tale which you don't see coming which makes it worth seeing
Nicolas cage is very good in it as is Sam Rockwell.


Cons
-There's a 10 minute prologue after the sting which is pointless - better to have ended the film on the sting.
-Still doesn't top the king of all con men films, 'The Sting'.


In short worth watching but don't bust a gut to trying to catch it before it leaves your local multiplex!

So it's no Thelma and Louise then. By the way, The Sting is great, but the real king of all conmen films is David Mamet's House of Games. A wonderful little film.

After Blade Runner, Alien & Gladiator.

Blade Runner & Alien aren't my personal cup of tea, but Gladiator? are you sure? Ridley Scott will never recover from being called 'a poor man's Stanley Kubrick' (Alexander Walker, I think) and so going and making a poor man's Spartacus hardly helped matters. Still, millions loved it and yes, there are plans for a sequel.
