Underworld film review

For those of you who've seen the side of buses enblazoned with ads for the film 'Underworld' here's my review:
Story
For centuries werewolves and vampires have been waging war against each other whilst living among us.
PROS
-Werewolf transformations are impressive
-Kate Beckinsale in a PVC cat suit (if that's your thing)
CONS
- the opening owes much to the 'security guards in the reception area' of the Matrix - as indeed does the long coats and wire work of the whole film.
- Kate Beckinsale is not a convincing lead
- even the normally fabulous Bill Nighy can't save this film.
- the vampires vs werewolves concept is a great concept but is wasted on a poor story here
- the pros aren't anywhere near enough to make this worth a trip to the flicks.
-20 mins too long
- average action scenes
- one character has a voice so deep you can barely understand what he says - in fact it's almost comical
In short this is for monster movie fans only but only just and even they will find much to be displeased with.
