A sad story in the news about the lady who was shot by some dirtball, one can only hope these scum are caught and maced thoroughly, or even better they resist arrest and take a bullet themseves, no point in wasting prison time on this vermin.........

just read the story,it seems the lady was shot trying to help her daughter from a robbery,when they eventually catch him he will probaly only serve a short sentence.

Happens everday of the week in truth.....the really scary part is a lot of these incidents involve people who are as high as kites which makes reasoning with them impossible

You would have thought something would have been learned from Prohibition but apparently not

State Sponsored free illegal drugs would seem to be worth a try just to see how much it would cut down crime.At the very least the junkies would know exactly what they were injecting which should decrease the amount of overdoses and free up valuable time for the Paramedics

Its rather amusing that the 2 biggest killers(Alcohol & Tobacco) when it comes to drugs are already legalised

its getting worse here in london too,few weeks back there was a siege at 1 of the nearby estates armed police helicopters,etc,then that little girl in w.london getting shot that too was drug related her dad was a dealer.

My point is if a person chooses to become a junkie for what ever reason then its better that they harm only themselves rather than the wider community.Only a constant free supply will obtain this outcome IMO

Methadone has been used as a substitute for heroin for many years with varying degrees of success

Detox works in the short term but the long term is only successful where
addicts have a reason for kicking the habit-namely unconditional support from family & friends

You make a valid point about wether free illegal drugs will lead to more addicts.Its may well do but then those individuals were probably heading in that direction anyway...

We are all told in life....if you don't try you have failed....the system is failing because its not trying any different solutions...Now why is that?

Whilst it was tragic that the woman got shot defending her family, I was genuinelly choked to see the picture of the heavily pregnant Spaniel that was drowned after being weighed down with a dumbell type weight. I know there should be NO comparison between a human and an animal, but I was really upset by the picture and the story compared to the lady who was shot as this seems everyday reading these days.
The local chief of Police made the news suggesting the community should 'have a go' where necessary, I wish I was there to 'have MORE than a go' if I caught some cunt drowning an animal

can?t see your ?Free Dugs for Addicts? scheme working buttsie, where will it end, alcoholics getting ?Free? drink in their local, Chain smokers getting free ciggies at the local supermaket, Obese people getting free pies and cakes at the bakers .... lol.
I have no respect for people messed up in drugs, they know what they are getting into when they started, it is the dealers who are to blame, a lot of these guys get it easy because they are ?grasses? for the cops, these are the untouchables who should be locked up first.
