Yes Steve, Johnny is something of a rarity in movies these days in as much as he can act. He's made a few duffers like Astronauts Wife and From Hell, but check out Ed Wood, Donnie Brasco and Ninth Gate if you want to see how versitile JD is

Edward Scissorhands is a masterpiece and the ONLY film I had a lump in my throat when watching.

hes by far the best actor around at the momeny...to decide when he was like late teens that he didnt want to go the teen idol route when he was being paid a LOT of money on that tv show (his first gig) is for me, trully admirable....i bet most ppl wouldnt be so pure as to want to take the route he chose....dont forget nightmare on elm street was his first film either

He's also an accomplished guitarist, featured on Oasis's Be Here Now album. Co-owner of The Viper Room as well.

Totally steals the screen in the last 2 films I've seen him in (Pirates of the Caribbian and Once Upon a time in Mexico).
Better than multi-Oscar winning Tom Hanks, IMHO.
