Saw a list that mentions 'cheesiest moments in movies' and the top moment was President Bill Pullman speech to the American people to take up arms against the aliens in Independance Day.
Spot on IMO

And the cheesemeister was that funny stand-up, film-appearing disaster area that is Robin Williams.
I still say Independence Day was a huge pile of pants.

Robins 'talent' has been raised here before.
One VERY unfunny person who is so far up his own arse, its unreal.
'Might' have raised a smile in 1978 playing Mork

Robin Williams - an evening at the met is far far better than Mork and Mindy ever was.

When he's not in front of a film camera, pleading with every cell in his body for people to like him, and sticks to his stand-up shtick, he can be quite amusing. Patch Adams, Jakob The Liar, Jack etc should result in a lifetime achievement award, administered with a baseball bat.

Was it the The Fisher King you were thinking of? Williams was also good in Insomnia and the creepy One Hour Photo.
