One question that needs asking:

Why do people still transfer into Sunhill?

Let's look at the facts. In the last year or so, ten murdered officers (Conway, killed in his car; Munro, Worrell, Spiers, Riley, Hayward and, eventually, Harker at the station explosion; Rickman, victim of a serial killer; Boyden, contract killing victim ordered by his own daughter; and now the lovely Juliette), one suicide (that scumball, raping bastard Chandler), three chased out homosexual characters (Ashton, Gilmore and Osborne), two rape victims (McAllister and Webb), three murdering officers (Chandler, Tavener and Bradford), one senior officer (Meadows) sleeping with a high-class call girl, one with a serious coke habit (Klein), an alcoholic domestic abuse victim (Carver), a wrongly-accused paedophile (Stamp), and two seriously compromised detectives forced out through meting out their own justice on white racists (Singh and Glaze). No wonder the one decent character without a stain on her character (Buxton) decided to jump ship.

Factor in all the sons, daughters, fathers, brothers, wives and husbands that have also suffered, and suddenly midnight patrol in Tikrit looks preferable to daytime duties in Sunhill!

There's at least three Taggart stories' worth of murders among the coppers alone.

And I bet I've missed at least one murdered officer out somewhere.
