It did seem remarkably cheap: I expect they're having to do various chores......and those engine-rooms take SOME cleaning.

I distinctly remember saying 'Oz airmail, please', so that's what I was given.
Probably caught up with all those Chrissy pressies from Aunt Bertha in Bolton, and rare snakes being mailed (somewhat uncomfortably) out from Oz disguised as rolls of lino.
