A thoroughly NASTY piece of work out to sue anyone who tarnished his name. The bloke is a slum landlord who rips people off and as far as I'M concerned, some dodgy Masonic handshakes and a few bob in the right direction helped get him off. Of that there is NO doubt, and Van Hoogstraten, if Im wrong, sue me...if yer reading this

This is a local story for me as the guy who was killed lived not far from me. Was surprised Van Hoogstraten got off the charge, but I guess nothing surprises me any more!!

Can anyone give me a link? I've looked on the BBC and Yahoo sitesand done a Google but can't find the story.

He is a truly nasty piece of work. An absolute shithouse of the highest order. The CPS has a lot to answer for as he was apparently released on a 'technical flaw in the prosecution case'.
But this still pales in comparison to Richard Madeley getting away with shoplifting from Tescos.
