forgive my absoulte lack of everything to do with babes, but I was wondering if anybody can tell me why the above issue can't be imported into the UK from their official site? Is it to do with contractual problems? Or Copyright issues?

Is she actually in it? Just looked on their website and there's no mention of her? And if you want to buy the mag I can no reason why that wouldn't be possible ??ww.playboy.com allows you to subscribe in the UK for $45 a year.

From what I can remember I think it's the US issue with her in a combat helmet or military clothing on the front cover? I mean, this is, unless I'm mistaken? If you look for the small prints, it states that that issue can't be shipped to the UK?

This was back in September or October - I've only just remembered about this because I saw her in The Mirror today and THAT 'alleged' comment about her digs when visiting British troops in Iraq.

Just a suggestion it may be old stuff- she did some shots some time ago wearing a combat helmet, army cap and naked holding a flag etc - these can be seen at Robbs Celebs.

The issue you are looking for is the August 1999 Playboy.

The copyright issue stems from the fact that the cover has the 'Tomb Raider' logo on it (which was Nell's only claim to fame at that point....being a live promotional model for video game character Lara Croft), which Playboy were apparently not authorised to use, and Eidos, the publishers of the Tomb Raider games, kicked up a stink about it.

I don't know about the US, but in the UK it had a huge orange sticker on the cover to cover up the offending logo and use of the Lara Croft name, with simply 'Nell McAndrew NUDE' printed on it in black letters. You can peel it off fairly easily to see the logo and 'AKA Lara Croft' bit if you like.

Personally, I don't think she's all that, but in the same issue there's a pictorial of 'American Pie's' Shannon Elizabeth, which is well worth seeing!!
