Digital Radios

Are they any good? For a ton they ought to be!! Anyone recommend if worth getting?

Definitley........get one!, I posted a thread a while back about them Ace, you wont regret it, just get the Evoke pure one, you can get them for about ?79.99 now..........

I got the Grundig one from Dixons/Curry's, ?75 and two speakers, so I suppose its stereo.

The reception is crystal clear, although there are limitations in the musical quality, but I guess thats because its basically a tranny. I suppose it needs pushing through a good amp and speakers to get the best out of it. I notice there are line out jacks on mine which are so you can do that.

But yes, a very worthwhile buy, especially if you listen to a lot of MW stuff like I do.

wouldnt it be good to turn on and hear alan freeman/kenny everett,blackburn etc though.

i get good sound on mw/fm on my portable radio.
