well i just got in thought id play some nice jolly music 20 mins later there was a almighty knock at my door telling me to turn it down or he will go round the estate office.

My position is quite simple. I don't impose my musical taste on my neighbours so why the feck should I put up with theirs.
I've threatened physical violence/council reporting with one lot. Bloody DJ's who played that headbanging crap so loud that not only could I not hear my own music but theirs was making my floorboards vibrate. And I'm talking about people living in the house next door

A few years back, a neighbour let his dog out at 6.00am and let it bark all day till he got home at 7.00pm. No one wanted to see him as he was a bit of a bruiser, but I did and he made it clear I could 'Fuck Off', so I wrote my intentions that I would contact Noise Pollution at the Council which was met with a pathetic glare when he saw me in the street.
The dog continued to annoy everyone, and I had to make recordings and EHO witnessed the noise and he was threatened with a court order and that can be VERY expensive.
Its not the dogs fault, but irresponsible owners. Im okay with parties and fireworks on Bonfire Night, but barking dogs are bang out of order
