'That was the week we watched' was on BBC 2 last night, 1 0f 6 nightly episodes featuring 1973. Tonight is 1970 which features clips of TV shows of that era. Im looking forward to Mondays 1982 episode with The Tube

i dont recall seeing the apollo 13 programme back in 1970 so ill tune in,thanks for that ace.

I think the Apollo 13 is the news coverage Stevie, BUT...............The Avengers is featured, so no doubt you can bombared the forum tomorrow about it

i didnt know the avengers were on in april 70, i recall a dept s episode about nerve gas with a then young anthony hopkins but i didnt know hoim really till the elephant man,looking at the bbc schedule i see the breakfast club is on this looks good too.

Maybe Radio Times have it wrong, but thats what it says. 1967 looks a good one for you as well (Mondays episode)

yes your quite right i just checked,they were probaly reruns dept s was very underated series though takes me back.

............to see Steve not raving about The Avengers that was shown on this programme last night. There was a LOT of shite on TV in 1970, as along with TOTP, Avengers and Family at War, they showed 'Mary,Mungo and Midge' as 'essential viewing

a family at war was shown on ch 4 in the 90s found it a laugh really sefton and the pig ,they only showed the 2nd series though.
