Interesting article in Guardian Weekly. Apparently the US military are suffering cutbacks to the extent that far more reliance has to be made on commercial security services of various kinds. The ratio of Military to Commercial manpower in the 91 Gulf War was about 100/1, now it's about 10/1.
Signs that the same thing is happening in the UK.
