Documentaries

Having just watched one talking about the rise & demise of the Western
I've got to say they are interesting and thought provoking
I've never thought of Clint Eastwood as John Waynes successor
especially when films like The Unforgiven are taken into account
I'm yet to watch a documentary where I didn't learn something compared the the usual reptitive predictable drivel served up as entertainment
I long for the day when the Big Boys in Hollywood start making Films,TV series again that aren't based solely on PROFIT
Then we old thirty year old farts can forget the classics of the 50s/60s/70s
when film making was at its peak
cheers
