Does anyone know why on some yahoo groups you can enlarge pics, and other you cannot? I have 2 groups, and on one of them I can enlarge pics back to their original uploaded size, but not on others.
Cheers in advance...

If you are a moderator or owner then all pics posted in the photos section should enlarge to 100%. If you are just a member then you do not have this facility. The groups i help to run on yahoo have the photos posted in the files section then everybody can view them 100%. I hope this is of some help.

I don't understand why there is that difference, was this always the case or is it another one of Yahoo's changes that may also apply to pics. in the Files section eventually?
I wish more groups had a policy of posting to the Files.

Thanks, that pretty much answers my question. The group that doesnt open full size pics used to belong to someone else and was transfered to me, so this may be the reason.
Thanks for the help!

Its a Yahoo change Mart
All pics used to be full size but due to not many punters buying the pics from Yahoo(i'm guessing) they disabled it.Another reason could be the copyright issue and then theres yahoos attempts at making adult groups invisible...obviously to crack down on unwanted traffic
Its a wonder they haven't nobbled the files section
The files section used to used only for zip files & video

I've asked the question about selling pics before. I can't understand how Yahoo thought they had any (copy)right to sell the pics. Surely they weren't that naive?

Its a grey murky area but the fact that the onus is on the uploader to do the right thing copyright wise seems to be their defence
They basically put the onus on everybody else but themselves
to alert them to copyright violations
Naive they are not...just taking a course that earns them the most amount of money
I've no idea about the ordering of pics especially adult oriented ones
The fact that the adult groups were removed from yahoos a to z index
says the adult groups were more a drain on their revenue than a profit
If they were making money from people ordering pics these groups would still be accessible through the index.
