Just watched the late night news, it seems that UK passports do not now meet the USA's new guidelines, and all visitors will be fingerprinted on arrival to the US.

Perhaps when suicide bombers crash four planes into London and kill 3,000 civillians we might be able to better understand why America is taking this action?

That's EXACTLY the sort of specious argument adopted by those government control-freaks who seek to restrict our freedom to move about and do business ever more tightly ......if you don't understand that this sort of nonsense is part of the price we have to pay for the possession of those freedoms, then I despair.
And isn't this sort of knee-jerk reaction EXACTLY what the terrorists are after? Isn't part of their stated aim to paralyse the West's ability to trade?

That's exactly the sort of specious argument used by governmental control-freaks to 'justify' ever more stringent restrictions on our freedom to trade and travel- and plays directly into the terrorists' hands, one of their stated aims being to paralyse the Western way of life.
I'm afraid that terrorism (in large part a result of insane jealousy) is part of the price we have to pay for a free and open society- the alternative is too terrible to contemplate, and would make sharia look like a vicarage tea-party.

Shame I am not a citizen of Afganistan, Iran or Iraq then maybe I might be able to apply to enter the Green Card Lottery and get a work permit to work in the USA.

Can anybody explain why the UK is the only country in Western Europe excluded from this scheme ???

As this country has no control over its borders, and anyone who can sneak in is permitted to stay, London is now thw world centre and safe haven for Islamic terrorists.
