Far fatched? The fact that Will Smith can pilot an alien spacecraft normally occupied and run by a large alien with long tentacles but which is friendly enough to let stumpy humans reach all the controls? The fact that creatures that can travel vast distances to Earth can be thwarted by some computer nerd with his souped Sinclair ZX81? The fact that the US Prez and an auld alky lead the resistance in jet fighters?

Words cannot describe how much I loathe and dispose that film---and in particular the awful, cheesy saluting all the time.
