i know that walkabout was released in 1971(jenny aged 19 then) but im sure i remember an interview that jenny gave some years ago(some chat show may have been wogan, not sure) saying that she made walkabout before railway children(1970,aged 18) and that she was aged 17 at the time.
does this mean that the bbc could be liable to prosecution if they show this film again after the new law comes into force in april?

it just goes to show what political correctness, and the panic over pediophiles has done. who said that politicians know zip.
i remember a swedish film shown on BBC2 about 12 yrs ago with two girls reaching puberty who undress in front of each other and the camera scanning down their naked bodies - so it would now be unlikely to ever be seen again.
but were the director or writer pediophiles - unlikely - but they will be regarded as such by the pc brigade. same panic with parents taking photo's of their children.
so an innocent film about young girls growing up is dumped because of pc panic and their purulent minds

There was a drama about 20 years or more ago about a famous ghost hunter, Harry Price, who was duped at a seance and saw a naked child ghost. Pretty sure it was BBC2, and I have the feeling Donald Pleasence may have been Price. It was quite spooky, but for it to work they needed a real naked child there---she must have been 10 at the oldest.
I remember how he was duped, but can't recall the name of the play. It would probably cause an outcry today.

Always wondered how old Jenny was when she did Walkabout.
As she had to play a school girl I guess she needed to look around 16, which she did.
They would proberly rewrite the script to get away with it today!!

Anyone remember the front cover of the album
Blind Faith (Clapton etc after break up of Cream)
It featured the top half of a naked girl of about
11 or 12 holding a metal spaceship, picture below
(scroll down page for large picture).
Wonder if you can still get it ?
