Might depend on what State you are in at the time. Laws differ from State to State in America.

as far as i know its not legal anywhere in the states, in fact penalties are much tougher there than here. you can get locked up for 24 hours in new york just for possession, in london now you just get it taken off you by the cops. so i've been told.
