The Office picking up 2 prestigeous awards at The Golden Globes, and at the same time, putting one over the Yanks when it comes to class comedy. Made my day, I can tell you!!

This is great recognition for a great series. For a series which was not broadcast on network TV but an obscure cable station (BBC America) to beat some of the biggest TV shows of recent years is a huge achievement. A massive win for the underdog.

This could be the start though of an American head hunt for our British comedy talent which may mean we start losing some of our fave comics for Hollywood.
