This is the new film covering the infamous trial of Charlie Richardson and his gang.
PROS
-Despite Luke Goss playing the lead he's pretty good.
- casts a bit of light on the case
CONS
- it jumps back and fore in time making it unnecessarily confusing at times.
VERDICT
Interesting to see a dramatisation of these East End villains rather than the Krays but if it had kept a linear narrative it would have been much better. Although it does try to have it's cake and eat it by making out that the villains were innocent and that their whole trial was a stitch up whilst still showing them commit some truly atrocious violent acts ( and some of them really do make you wince in the graphic way they're portrayed). Not bad but not that good either.
