Just got this texted to me.......
Two sharks off the Irish coast. One says to the other "I'm bored with Mackarel", the other says "Ok, lets go to Morecambe for a Chinese!!"
No offence, my ex neighbours were Chinese and lovely couple.

Gotta say Mutant & JJ, that's going too far.
A joke's a joke but words like "Nip" & "Chink" are to some, as offensive as words like "Paki" or "Nigger".

I agree with you Holden, personally I reckon if I can't say Chinks, Japs or Pakis then from now on Im officially going to be offended being called a "brit"

Thing is ID, that being called a Brit, has never been offensive.
Chink, Paki, Nip, Nigger et al have always been used in a racist way.
I know the PC bandwagon is big, but as far back as I can remember, nobody ever used the above words with affection nor without adding "Present company excluded" if there was a black, Oriental or Asian person there.
Gives away the stance.
I have yet to meet someone who is pissed off at being called a Brit, Yank, Aussie or Kiwi.
Frog, Kraut, Spik, Nigger, Paki, Chink, Daigo, Coon are completely different and offensive.
It's not new PC, but old school respect.
