. . . . to whoever is holding Magoo prisoner:
We're willing to offer some small token in return for his release. Lizard will give up his tea recipe, Elton his collection of Carol's used undies, and Holden will give you two shots of his bike (without stabilisers). This is our last offer. Free him now, and we'll hold up our end of the deal. Failure to do so will involve us releasing the ultimate weapon---the Sixties Triviamatron. You have been warned.

Blame me....I told him to take a break...alas I didn't elaborate how long
No doubt ifn Mr Sobriety lets him go he'll be back
with a few pearls of wisdom
Apparently he's also busy on the work front
No rest for the wicked
cheers

Being in Scotland, these episodes of Still Game are two years old to us. It's great stuff, though. I'm glad the humour is translating well south of the border.

Translating !
Its one of the best comedy shows ive seen in ages !
the two old guys that play the old mates ,one of them is not as old as he's playing though ?
the episode when they get the speed off a doctor and go out dancing was magic too.

I think both main characters, plus the two guys playing a couple of their sidekicks, are in their late 30s/early 40s. Ford Keirnan showed up in Sea Of Souls last night playing a cop, and also played it relatively straight in one of Vic and Bob's Randall And Hopkirk programmes.
Still Game grew out of a couple of recurring characters in Chewin' The Fat. You've still got some classics to see, including the King Ned episode.
For a definition of "ned", see
(the top pic, incidentally, is of Greg and Ford when they're not old men).
