dvd compress

hi all
hope you can help me here,i have just downloaded a film but it says on my burning softwear that it is two long two fit on a dvd,can anyone please tell me of any good softwear out there that will compress it so i can get a 3 hour film on too a dvd disk please.and im sorry my spelling is not up two much but would love your help please many thanks levo

Have you tried a search. There is software around because I had some info. recently but I deleted it. Sorry.

Just search for DVD Shrink --- a nice little application and it's free too

hi all
and thanks for your input ,but im a bit confussed i downloaded some films off kazza and would like 2 put them on dvd as the films are still on my hard drive but i need two compress them two put on dvd for my own private viewing sorry for messing u around but dont want two make copys of stuff ive got on normal dvd but want two make my own but films are two big so i need 2 compress them on my hard drive then put on two dvd again very sorry for messing you kind people around many thanks levo

Hi

If you use DVD Decrypter on the latest version you can put two films on one DVD, then shrink & copy it through DVD shrink.
If you can get Pinnacle 8 you'll find a menu where you can edit up to 6 hrs on a DVD.
