saving pics of tinternet

when i used to save a picture from a website it would come up with the pictures name but now it only comes up with untitled for every pic i try and save so now i have to give it a name why has this started to happen?

Your cache is full, go into tools, internet options, then delete temperary files and cookies, even history if you dont mind re-typing all urls.

Are they saving as bitmaps? Usual reason is that your Temporary Internet Files cache is full. Try either increasing its size or emptying it.

Another cause of this can be those sodding parasite bastards trying to plant java or ActiveX on your system to hijack your browser, or to install bloody dialers. Have a look in your "Downloaded Program Files" folder and see if there are any nasties lurking in there.
