What exactly is she FOR?
What purpose does she have in the Great Scheme of Things?
As a novelty walnut hat-stand perhaps?
Or as ballast on a Mozambican freighter carrying GM coconuts and polystyrene fire-guards from the Queasy Islands to the city-sinks of Casablanca?
Maybe as the tamping-wopple of a Keighley trunion?
Is she the Fifth Unknown Charm-Quark, needed to finally formulate the Grand Unified Field Theory of Everything?
I really MUST read Hansard and the London Gazette more often.........I assume the answer's in there. Somewhere..........

So long as the blessed Tony is in place, she exists only to give him adoration. There was a truly excruciating OBN in Private Eye a year or so back where she was asked who would take over if Tony fell under the proverbial London bus. Clutching a large onion, she had to stop several times to say that if she couldn't throw herself in front of the bus instead of Tony, she assumed Gordon Brown would inherit the crown.
Otherwise, she serves no purpose whatsoever---like the majority of those who work in the Palace of Westminster.

If she'd eaten the onion, and then breathed lustily over the two, then the bus would have been otiose. Anyway, they don't go fast enough.
No, that's vampires, isn't it? Or is that garlic? Hemlock?
Sorry, I'm doing this AND trying to watch the Scots tryng to play football.....
Oh dear: 3-0......I'm not laughing. REALLY, I'm not. Honest. Don't forget, I'm an England fan, and so well-used to abject misery.......

Abject misery was ten years ago---almost a happy memory. The brightest moment of the game for us Scots was the minute's silence for Ally McLeod.
The Welsh have got the makings of a decent side. We, on the other hand, are utter shite.

Oh, I don't know.....the band was good at half-time, and the tea was hot.
Nil desperandum, and all that- I'm sure Liz would agree about the importance of a nice hot cuppa.
And your ladies are very good at curling, I hear.
Not sure what it is they actually curl, but I'm sure it comes out very, um, curly.
Um, well done, those men.
Er, ladies.
Sorry.
