Does anyone remember a comedy called Operation Good Guys. Starred and written by Ray Burdis and Dominic Anciano, fucking brilliant, everyone I speak to has never heard of it and it is one of the best underated comedies of the last 10 years, up there with Pheonix Nights and The Office. Had a great supporting cast with stars such as Jude Law and Johnny Lee Miller, Sean Pertwee apppearing in cameo roles such was the quality of the programme.

Yeah, I remember it - they put it on BBC2 without much publicity - I switched over to it by accident and got hooked - think that it's now out on video/dvd.

Loads of funny moments, too many to list here - particularly liked the bit when the chief's nephew opened a briefcase which then exploded and covered him and the money inside with indelible dye - followed by his explanation that he "wanted to see what ?1m pounds looked like"

That's the programme, the same cast had a few spin off films which were brilliant, one called 'Final Cut' starring Ray Winstone and Jude law, the other called "Love Honour and Obey" starring Jude Law, Jonny lee Miller and Sean Pertwee. If anyone hasn't seen these videos you can buy then for about a fiver from Amazon such underated are they, bloody brilliant and better than any of the recent crap UK movies.

Good series not given enough credit unfortunately.

Same can be said for an early Angus Deayton series called 'KYTV' a spoof of early SKY tv - lasted for 3 series but again criminally overlooked. Transferred from radio where it was originally called Radio Active which was superb.
