Just read the new series is to be set in Thailand as the lads repair the famed Bridge Over The River Kwai.

Worse than a series, Ace, it was being touted as the Beeb's Christmas replacement for Fools And Horses. I fear the worst.

Let's be honest, no matter how pish it is, the Beeb's schedule is bound to be better than the brain dead rot that ITV puts out.

The number 3 button on my TV remote seems in much better condition than all the others (yes, even 5).

It's actually Auf Weidershen 5
They should call it a day. the 1st 2 series where brilliant, 3rd OK but the last series was poor.

I worked in Hamburg,Germany,in the early 80's as an electrician[and no i'm not a dense brummie]because there was'nt any work in the U.K at that time.the 1'st series absolutely spot on in it's accuracy with the characters location,acting;tight script ect,ect.
The second series ok, the latest series the least said the better.
