i'm just about to try out broadband but am getting conflicting reports on how many MB/GB you are allowed per month.I'm even hearing that you're limited to 1GB per month with some.Surely this is not so?Isnt the whole point of broadband for downloading?Anyone recommend a good ISP for broadband and which package?
thanks

If you do a search under 'broadband' you'll find quite a few previous discussions with various reports good and bad depending on where your located

This link lists all the major players in the UK market with reviews and facts

Some products have daily limits others have monthly limits.

The standard ntl and BT packages there is a limit of 1GB per day, which trust me is not a problem.

BT have introduced a ?20 a month service that has a 1GB per month cap, avoid at all costs if you are doing file sharing etc
