Firstly Lumper, see if it has a name....any! xxx, etc, if you can find one, go to start, the search, click on find files/folders and type in the name, let the puter do a full search, if it finds the programme, it probably wont let you delete, as it will be running!, so press cont/alt/del keys to bring up task manager, look for the running programme, the close it down, now delete it.
Also check your internet connections, (show all connections) if it appears there as a dial up connection, delete it!, you may have to do the above again to accomplish this!
There are a lot of programmes that will detect a dial up swapover, but not many that are good at preventing it, try using winpatrol, when your surfing.
You can also tell in internet options for explorer to notify you if you are about to change connections, in the tools section.
hope this helps.

Soz! your post said 1 on 1, so check that file name, also go to favourites and delete anything that 1 on 1 has put on your list, as these are all active links, also go to your host files, and delete 1on 1 from there as well, any shortcuts placed on your desktop? get rid of them.....

Well it's come back again twice tonight yet it's not in my internet connections anymore. Good job I have premium rate numbers barred on my phone but it's annoying keep getting cut off broadband. How can I get rid of this or stop it happening again? I have a firewall and Norton Anti Virus but it still gets through.

I've never used Ad-aware before but just installed and ran it. During the scan my AVG anti-virus came up twice showing a virus in Ad-aware!!!!!!
What's going on?

Its not uncommon for popular free programs too be used maliciously

You need look no further than spybot and the misuse and relabelling of this product by numerous assholes

Best bet is to only download programs from the programs main page where possible
