How often do you print something from a website that is only one page but you find a second page printing with feck all on it?
I reckon the paper and ink manufacturers are behind it. Did you know that ink costs more than Champagne or good Cognac?

Thats typically because of 3 reasons

1: all the hidden Meta Tag bull ppl put at the BOTTOM of the webpage, which is hidden to the browser and printer, these idiots still haven't learnt it is supposed to be in the HEAD tag of the browser.

2: people who make these webpages typically include plenty of Carriage Returns at the end of each page, so for whatever future content they may have, they have the page space, which is stupid actually, bacause as soon as you put more content to a page, it will automatically get bigger.

3: the Margins your printer is set at, it could have too much spacing, couple that with the odd dimensions most websites are, your guaranteed extra blank pages.

And yes, I know all this, because i design websites myself ;)
