I brought my washing in last night just as it started to rain. It hasn't stopped since so I havn't been able to put it out again.
Aigghhhh! What's happening? Is it Global Warming or Global Wetting or my brain rotting by frequenting this forum?

No evidence of your brain rotting Mart! Incidentally, where did that marvellous quote of Robert Louis Stevenson at the bottom of your enteries come from? I have been unable to find it.

I heard it quoted in a TV documentary about RLS. The narrator was standing at the hilltop grave in Western Samoa.
It took some tracking down but it's in a letter he wrote to Sidney Colvin from San Francisco dated February 1880. I'll scan the copy I have and email it to you if you like.

It was a nice summer's night in Stockholm tonight. Watched the speedway on sky sports.
