I know this is a longshot but can anyone here put me in touch with Tudor Gates ?

Briefly, he's a stage and screen writer, producer and director who has been around for many years. He worked on a number of sex comedies in the 70's and directed "Intimate Games" in 1976 (in which Mary Millington had an uncredited part). He's done tons of other stuff too, including writing the screenplay for Barbarella...

Is this the same Tudor Gate who also wrote the wonderfully camp Danger Diabolik?

Anyway, Tudor Gates - assuming it's the same one - was, and I think still is, the vice president of BECTU, the Broadcasting Entertainment Cinematograph and Theatre Union. Try their website

Hope this helps.

Not forgetting three of the best Hammer films ever written.
The Vampire Lovers, Lust for a Vampire and Twins of Evil.

Thanks for the info. I've emailed BECTU.

Yes, he did write Danger Diabolik. He also worked on the script of Barbarella, directed numerous plays, wrote for "The Sweeney",...

I'm particularly interested in a film called "Straw Dogs", which Tudor Gates may have been involved in.
