What is so laughable about this whole incident is that several Arab States & Israel use these exact methods

Saw a recent doco about a Lawyer who exposed a secret torture facility that the Israelis were using

Followed by several Arabs stating that Arab states use these types of torture to keep dissidents under control

Propaganda...its all lies or exaggerated truths and it gives me the shits

No side has the high moral ground...all sides commit atrocities against enemies and their own

Which is a bloody good argument for never going to war no matter wether their is justification or not

One thing is for certain...Civilians always come out the worse for wear in any conflict

Totally agree with you on that bro.
I say we have all the politicians in an arena, even the fat useless ones like Sharon and they battle it out.
Of course, whoever wins then gets stoned by the crowd for having the audacity to speak for the country.

Can't beat a good Stoning

Sick of seeing cabinet ministers f..cking up their portfolio and only getting a demotion to the back bench and then 2/3 years down the track getting readmitted to the cabinet when the media is chasing other bigger prey

One turkey in OZ managed to lose 4 billions Aussie dollars in a currency swap and it hardly rated. He's still our Treasurer by the way
No surpise that his surname is Costello
He's from the party that supposebly is good at economic management but sadly lacking on good public policy side

Comapre that to 3 of our State Banks that went bust to the tune of similar amounts and there were Royal Commisions for all which dragged on for years with jail time for a few at the end.

It seems our Politicians just like Board Members of Failed Companies are a protected species

The only time we can call them to account is at an election

The choice...tweedle dee or tweedle dumb

I've always wondered how many Australians would bother to vote if it wasn't compulsory.I suspect the turn out would be less than Americas 50%

I'd guess 30%

The other 70% would turn out fo a stoning but

Can we add to the list of un-American actvities:
Wounded Knee
Hiroshima
Nagasaki
My Lai

oh and McDonalds

In truth human conflicts always ends with the living writing the report, and how many of us actually know what it feels like to be shit-scared surrounded by hatred and 300,000,000 miles from home? (don't be assinine enough to say this is what they are trained for!)

I want a job like George Bush: where I can fuck millions of people a day.......is that in poor taste?

And for the British list or French, or Belgian etc....just look at the older history books

I may not agree with what you say: But I will defend until death your right to say it (credited to Voltaire - actually Greek playwrite 5th century BC)......
