Thats nature Magoo....in OZ we have 2 species of Magpies....the larger will eat the smaller ones hatchlings no problems

Everybody has to catch their own food to survive

I wonder how many Human would still be meat eaters if they had to slaughter the animals themselves...not many I'm guessing

You think Swans are bad when you encroach on their territory...try entering an enclosure with a Goose in close proximity...goats are far behind...even Rams will go you....then theres the Bull...running with the bulls-I'll settle for watching City Slickers again

Funny how humans(being at the top of the food chain) can't understand why animals become aggressive when we(or our domesticated friends) encroach on their territory

In their eyes everytime we do...its life or death

Its very sad when you see beautiful birds like Macaws who live their entire lives in groups and can sometimes keep the same mate for nigh on 40 years
be captured and kept as a solitary pets....two words...inhumane slavery IMO

cheers
B....OZ

Magpies are the worst culprits. Its nature, but I chase them (magpies) when ducks are hatching near where I live.
Same with cats, I love them, but I always chase the estate's resident big ginger Tom from my cats.
