I have recently downloaded what I thought was going to be a full version of Marilyn Chambers classic "Insatiable". It's one of my favourite films but there seem to be so many variations of it due to censsorship. The version I have is definately the fullest I've seen but I think it still has at least one cut and that is where Marlyn lies beside a swimming pool and appears to be fisted - the movie shows the beginning of this and the last few seconds but there seems to be a chunk missing (unless it was always just supposed to be implied). Does anyone know if it ever had this section in and if so is it possible to obtain it?

Where did you download it from out of natural curiousity....it's for a mate.

After checking my sources it seems that the fisting scene was filmed, but never released, not in the theatrical, VHS or DVD releases.

It's available (in a new print) on one of the deluxepass sites - - there are several of these sites including a 70's one and a euro one with loads of rare and classic porn.

Thanks - you've confirmed what I feared was the case - prudery ruins a classic film again. That would have been wonderful to watch.

It's still a good film though - one of the best imho - Marilyn squirms beautifully like a cat on heat throughout.

They didn't ruin it, the fisting scene was also not in the original as far as I can estimate, it ended up on the cutting room floor. I know quite a lot of other classics have been cut after their original release, but not this one.

Interesting that IAFD have Insatiable listed as including fisting.



Even more interesting is two other movies of hers are listed including it:

"Beyond DeSade (cool title)" and "Never a tender moment" - though its possible they are variants on the same movie as they have the same cast.

I am going to have to try and track these down - in fact I need to get hold of more Marilyn period - Insatiable and Behind the Green Door have whetted my appetite - she is an amazing performer and a real beauty.

Only in the title list, but all the reviews and discussions I have found (see adultdvdtalk f.i.) mention that it was not in the theatrical or VHS release. The consensus seems to be it was never in the movie at all.

It was - and is still (I think). But it's surprising how many US early 80's movies managed to sneak it in - for example "Sweet little Foxes" and "Candy Stripers". Unlike the german movies where it is a prominent feature in the fetish genre these are more "mainstream" type movies too (very good ones too). I wonder if it was seen more as a "normal" sexual activity in those days (until criminalised by the hypocrites in power). Certainly in movies like Insatiable and Sweet Little Foxes it seems strongly connected with themes of women's sexual empowerment.
