i watched the inspector lynley mystery last night for the 1st time and thought peter egan did a fine performence as the doctor.

he was in a series when i was about 13 buti never saw it think it was banned too violent,hog?big breadwinner hog?

missed that too,i even missed the philby burgess mc clean 1 alan bates was in,wasnt pym gay or was it blunt ?

He does a lot of theatre work. I last saw him in Tennesse William's 'Camino Real' with Leslie Philips as Gutman

considering his age i think Leslie Phillips looks fine, although he has become rather a parody of himself, saying "ding dong" and "well hello" at every opportunity
