Recording webcams: techie help wanted.

Some webcam images get downloaded onto my hard disk as "pull[*].jpg" where "*" is a number between 1 and 99. This means that there are only 99 filenames used. In the course of a session these files get spread over a number of folders in ContentIE5 and only get retained if no more with the same filename save in the same folder.
I'm looking for some software that will automatically give unique filenames to each frame as it is downloaded and save them in an assigned folder.
I've done some searches and placed an enquiry on a relevant newsgroup but so far no luck.

Thanks ghostdog. Spoiled for choice, as they say.
Just a matter of deciding which is easiest/cheapest etc.....lol

I've been attacked on one newsgroup for "stealing" webcam pics. Bloody nerve, its hardly stealing when you've paid membership to a site and you don't intend to trade in the material.

Something really strange has happened which means I don't have to instal any software.
The webcam frames are now also being stored in ContentIE5 with unique filenames made up of 8 characters always beginning with CA. After each webcam session I go into the folders and drag and drop the files into a dated folder. I don't know why its happening but its magic.
