Trojan

I've just discovered one buried away in my system, where it's apparently been sitting for almost a month undetected, but burst into life today. Any tips, Lizard? I have a firewall, anti-virus programs and adaware running. Anything else I should go for? I've tried downloading Winpatrol but it seems to have locked while trying to install.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Always run adaware 1st,Spybot 2nd & CW Shredder 3rd

If you run adaware after spybot it will detect the backups/quarantined items that spybot makes

CW Shredder mops up what the above 2 miss in relation to the cool web search trojan

Winpatrol is really quite good, as it shows all incoming .exe programmes, and trojans etc, try and download it fully if you can, then always surf with it, also as buttsie says, run CW shredder asap....it,s in the links
