yeh, and you did yourself and us all proud. Ashley Cole and most of the rest of them too.
Heres a question...why are England always the ones who suffer stupid injustices that should be rectified afterwards? Are we that much of a walkover :|

yes and just to take a quote from the mercurial Joe Royle tonight:
there are centrebacks ...
giants ...
and Sol Campbell ...
now what the fuck does that mean??

That he stands apart from the rest of the crowd.

Not having witnessed the error I'd say England aren't alone in copping it

The game relies on Humans to oversee it.....nuff said

Italy & Spain got woeful decisions in the recent World Cup that basically handed South Korea entry to the next round on a platter

Its time for video replays like most forward thinking codes have adopted

They just banned a player for spitting so why not for what really counts on the football field...farcical offsides...blatant penalties turned down...red card offences off the ball missed etc etc etc

yes sure Holden, obviously now that the drug-using twat from old trafford (read Rio Ferdinand) is no longer the best defender in world football, I mean like er obviously it would need to be er, em Sol Campbell wouldn?t it, like he is the only LOGICAL man I can think of, basic facts are England are out because they have leaked too many goals and their much vaunted midfeild is absolute MINCE ...
I am off to watch Des Lynam (oim ?oirish me?) and his ITV reaction to this, then I might tape the full game again when it is shown later.

Nope

Not if it is used purely for when a Goal is scored

All other decision should be left to the officials on the ground

IMHO you should do away with linesmen trying to call offsides(which is probably more responsible for stop start and fans frustration) than any other error and simply look at the video replay once a goal is scored when the players are making their way back to halfway...puts the onus back on the player to be onside not the linesmen to achieve the impossible and look at 2 different spots at the same time

The Rugby Codes have it pretty much right

Disruptions are minimal at best

I think it could be done then with all the celebrating going on. If there was no need for a replay I feel that for one game only or for sufficient matches the team that conceded the goal to be allowed to kick-off while the celebrations were going on this would lead to less celebrating. You never seem to see such happenings in RU or RL games.

Stangely enough in the rugby codes the fans either celebrate twice
once when the try is scored and once when it is confirmed(if its in doubt which isn't always the case) or celebrate once but they always end up drinking more either way
