Enjoy the spirit of Glastonbury from your own home. Simply place your stereo at the bottom of the garden, turn the bass to max and treble to zero to achieve that authentic festival sound, place one of your old toy soldiers on top of it, to give you the standard festival stage view, and retire to the opposite end of the garden. Should you wish to eat or drink, simply remove ?6 from your pocket per item, and when you wish to go to the toilet, queue for 3 hours before doing so.

For ultra realism, roll around in your own filth, and don't wash for three days.

And last year, but then mercenary hypocrisy was always part of the Manic's appeal.

I went in 1985, it was a shithole, it never stopped raining and I left after 11/2 days.
Never, ever again.
