Miss Bohrloch was Mary Millington in the film of the same name. I've not seen it, but it is supposed to be one of her few h/c films, although it would undoubtedly look terribly dated by now.

Film is dated, but mary is WELL worth a look.

From memory( been a while since I saw it) they had irish accents and had names like shamus and paddy, I will revisit it and report back, you've got me questioning my own mind now jj.

I very much doubt that live sound was used; so the accents are irrelevant to where the performers were from, as opposed to the characters they played.
