Heart's Filthy Lesson

I've just read the worrying news that David Bowie has undergone heart surgery and has had to cancel a load of shows. There was me thinking he looked the picture of health these days having adopted a much healthier lifestyle these days. I hope he returns to full health as soon as possible as the bloke is the bomb!

I've never enjoyed the "Scary Monsters" album much aside from the brilliant Ashes to Ashes and Fashion but a lot of people consider it to be his best album. Mind you I really like his eighties albums such as "Tonight" and "Never Let Me Down" so I think I'm out of step with the Bowie hardcore who generally hate this, more mainstream Bowie.
My ultimate Bowie favourites would have to be "Diamond Dogs" and the terrifying "Outside" which Bowie now claims to find too disturbing to listen to!

Here, here - but will it lessen his extraordinary live performances in future?
Hope not, though we don't want beep! beep! becoming beep....beep....beep....do we?

Weird, eh?
Watching a (very) live gig of his on TV last week, I remarked to Mrs JJ how fit he must be, despite the years of substance-abuse.
